My friend and I have a little project going called Jacuzzi. It's kind of silly, but we like it and have fun with it. We use all kinds of instruments; acoustic and electronic. Try not to take it too seriously. :) The last track has real drums on it. |

i think you should try to spice things up with taped environment sounds. like go to stores or whatever...grab that environment and put this over top. Dude that would be spot!! |

Whoa. Um.. thank you very much Amon. :) I am playing drums on the track with real drums and my friend plays guitar on all the tracks with guitar. I play keyboards too. I just put up another track with acoustic drums, some electric guitar and a bit of synths thrown in. We sample sometimes. No software though. We use an 8-track to record. |

Oh and we have completed a 9 track album that is supposed to come out on our friend's label, hopefully within the remainder of the year. |

You're a very good drummer clic! so what do you do, play a loop and run it over? or is this a whole 'session' thing where nothing was looped and everything was played 'live'? |

after hearing most of Pompeii I still think the songs are dieing for some taped environment. you should try to experiment with that! Blatant: Sorry about that. i posted the first one...then i had another question...then a comment...then it just dawned on me how COOL THIS STUFF IS!!! |

I have cued all the three tracks for d/l... and I loved the new call track pin2....sorry if this offends you but as it is called pin2 and the dark and spooky vibes it eminated I started wildly fantasizing scenes from my favourite horror fanchise Hellraiser (starring PINHEAD geddit :) ) being set to it.......immensely entertained...sorry for using your music like that ;) |

The drums/guitar/everything is played live. We play all the sounds ourselves, and then overdub additional parts to the foundation. We don't have computers, so we pretty much have to rely on our own human rhythm (which is really hard at some times). :) So yes, this is a 'session' type of thing. We use drum machines sometimes, but that is the only instance when something is really programmed. We're not opposed to using software, we just don't have a pc right now. |

just listening to Jacuuzzi stuff..got Kool Aid Man and Fops Vs Dandies...I have the third song 100 percent dled but the bastard d/l manager up and fugged on me again..it keeps doing it..so now have the entire song and I cant play it..:( anyhow..the stuff is very nice..just like the title bubbly and foamy :)..that's some good druming:)..so all the processing on the drums on Kool Aid Man is..post production? |

kool aid man... ! like it a lot, short and to the fun point, it's like the complexity of squarepusher in slow motion... reminds me of the 2nd to last track on fakesch's "marion" too the way the sound sometimes does awesome mutating. |

Thanks Flea and w M w. :) The Drums on Kool-Aid Man are electronic, from my drum machine. I just did some real-time tweaking with some effects and stuff to give a bouncy, lively sound, which by the way, I'm glad you caught the hint of the bubbly and foamy feel. That's what we were shooting for :D |
