what do you people think about the recent state of electronica?? new releases --it just seems that there is nothing worth getting excited about recently! |

If you look part the top 4 or 5 artists discussed here I'm sure you'd find some good releases. But I have to confess I've only bought one electronic album the last 2 or 3 months - "Jello - Voile" and it was pretty good. I've been getting a lot of cheap classical discs instead - more music for the money. |

I dont think its going downhill at all. Just look at all the music makers coming out and getting signed to small labels....... tigerbeat, schematic.... hymen, zod.. and the list goes on forever. I think the future looks really bright, you just have to look harder... |

Ditto. Brownout is easily one of the best records I've bought in a long time. It's very visual. Extremely talented producers, that Rom and Josh. :) |

the current state of electronic music looks good to me. Sasha's new album, squarepusher, a new plone album suposidly coming out this year, not to mention how many vsnares albums will be coming out...... but my glass is always half full |

drukqs came out last year, dude, but OK. However, consider that this year gave us Gantz Graf, Murcof, new Amon Tobin, and some other nice thangs. |

new d'arkangelo is pretty good and a new chris clark ep on warp soon i'm looking forward to new phoenecia soundtrack too jello - voile is really nice electronica is doing fine! |

ive been getting into heaps of local (australian) artists and labels lately. just started to find a scene down here. im going to a big electronic music summit this weekend. showcases by local and international artists, as well as shows everynight. big warehouse party this saturday!!!! |
