i'm watching my first Bruce Lee film, and it's pretty good.
tho the FAKE sounds that go with the hits is rather
irritating.

anyone here a fan? i know he only made a few films, but he
has quite the reputation.

what happened to his son brandon was so tragic.....his last
film was amazing as well!

holy smokes......lee's STARE is more funny than
scary....ehhehe

some fun factoids

bruce did 500 kicks a day per leg....and the finale (which
is about to come one) was shot with over 8000
mirrors....it's gonna be good

*hi........YAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH*

Be water...

If it fills the cup, it becomes the cup...
If it fills the bowl, it becomes the boel...
If it fills the teapot, it becomes the teapot...

Be water my friend...

I'm not sure if that's the exact quote, but close enough...

Oh and HI-KEEBA!

;.o whoooaaaaa!

hehehe......well there's a certain beauty to the whole
karate thingy.....beauty in movement. but yeah....tis
violent.

it's the first movie i've seen of his....sadly it didn't
make me wanna run out and rent another....but it was
watchable!

offline neetta from Finland on 2002-09-11 06:21 [#00387838]

i can't really relate to movement if its only for violence
:( it makes me feel bad. also, i'm very clumsy and
watching karate/kung fu etc really makes me think of that :)

Jackie Chan kicks it! literally! I loved him in drunken
master! That movie is soo great! He really beats him self up
on his stunts, some of the stuff he does is just nuts! Gotta
love em!

i'm always bumping in to everything..

seriously, i don't know where my hate for kungfu films comes
from. i just started thinking that there are many quite
violent films that i really like (..quentin tarantino!).

There's a guy that lives down the street from me that looks
almost exactly like Chuck Norris. He is even a black belt in
some martial art. Seriously. He drives a dumptruck for a
living though.

The soundtrack kicks like a mutha. Lalo Schifrin, he da man.

I went round a mates house to spin some tunes and a mate of
his had his dad's copy of the OST and its was the original
vinyl in mint condition. I almost wet my pants. The damn
fool wasn't aware of how valuable it was and it'll probably
sit in his garage unplayed and unloved. I should have mugged
him for it; a roundhouse to the head and the off.
