PS2 ? As in Playstation 2? No, that has no web browsing, yet.... But each individual game has chatrooms.
If your not talking about ps2 then im sorry.

I prefer messageboards... I never liked chatrooms. Too informal, not enough order. And I hate having to think fast and type shit on the fly, I type faster than I think. ;-)

I like messageboards better, because it keeps a record of all the intelligent ramblings that are exchanged. Chat rooms are too fast-paced. That sort of instant-communication is better suited to AIM.
It's like 50 people in a crowded room all trying to talk at once.

I beleive the ideal mesageboard would include an instant-messaging service. Because some people like to chat with their buddies or ask others questions.

i used to go on irc but when i left it, it was so slow.. such a waste of time. when i first started using it it was perhaps TOO busy.. all the text went by so fast. the pace of this board is "just right" and it really beats any chatroom in diversity of subject matter.

Chatrooms present the problem that if you leave the room for a minute you're completely lost when you come back, so I think I prefer messageboards. (I've never seen a messageboard with instant messaging. Can anyone give an example of one?)

I don't beleive there is one. But if this one had one it'd be lush. Like you can click on the member list on the left and talk to whomever you want. Also, no one would have to worry about who has AIM, YAHOO, MSN or whatever since it's a messageboard/xltronic based service.

I wonder how hard that would be to create/run. Would probably work about the same way as a personal message or whisper in a chatroom, I'd guess
