I swear I just saw an AFX logo on the middle of a car
hubcap in the video Still D.R.E. by dr. dre feating snoop
dog...its that one where a guy's smoke spells out something
'presents' and then these cars are shown bouncing. in one of
the first shots a close up of a hub cap is shown rolling
along down the street and in the middle is the aphex twin
logo!!! if anyone sees this video watch with careful
eyes.... thats nuts!

nope...i was pretty certain it was...kinda weird. id laugh
pretty hard if snoop dog or dr. dre have even heard of
afx... that would be funny

um, dr. dre is a big fan of afx and anti-pop consortium. i
guess you don't listen closely to dre's production do you?

I wish they'd have a clothing line that would be 'anti-pop
clothing'. totaly minimalism with weird shaples on the
front and stuff. stuff that normal people wouldn't wear!
CAUSE WE'RE ELITISTS DON'T FORGET!!!

dre is a musical genius. if you don't listen to hip-hop
already then don't bother to listen to dr. dre cos you won't
"get it". but if you do like any hip-hop just listen closely
to songs he's produced (which aren't just his own songs).
electronica producers are in awe of him and i think you'd be
surprised how influential he is on idm and other genres.

I hate 'rapping'...so I don't think i'll be listening to him
anytime soon. if he did other stuff without talking..id
listen to it. more jazz or whatever...just no rapping.
unless ae screwed it up hehehehehehe

you could always look up this phrase on soulseek "dr. dre
instrumental" and get vocalless versions of his songs. he's
produced some tracks for r&b singers too (meaning they're
not rapping but singing, but if you're a racist i suppose
this doesn't interest you either cos the r&b singers are
blacK). dre couldn't be further from jazz, his tracks are
very polished but in a good way. the only other thing i can
think of non-rap is an unreleased collaboration (just a few
songs, ep length) w/ trent reznor.

no im not racist...i just don't like rapping...something
totally turns me right off...i guess the rapping culture. I
don't know. i'll see if i can find instrumentals. thanks
for your help anyway :)

The logo is NOT an Aphex logo - it is the logo of the rim
manufactuer.

And this is REALLY OLD, still incorrect news :)

what makes you think it's not an afx logo? you could be
right tho; i've never noticed it when i watched the video, i
just took it for granted when i read it on afx news sites
(probably including joyrex.com). so based on that i figured
dre was an afx fan, which could still be the case though
it's unknown. the warp site did say dre was an admireer of
APC tho; check the dissolution announcement. dre also likes
artists such as stereolab and trent reznor, so the afx thing
was plausible at least.
