Okay, here's something I thoiught up call Talk About. Baslicly I, or whoever wants to join in the fun, starts a topic called "Talk About" follwed by a random aphex or any other band song that you want to discuss. I know this could be done just by asking or something, but this seemed like a fun idea. Anyways, talk about Cock Ver/10. Any secrets in the track you found? Best bit? I love this track so muck... the drum beats seem to have some strange power over me in which they crab my head and make it pulsate back and forth like a goddam vampire bat in heat then the melodies make me flow like a 'rabbit in the headlites' if you know what I mean... then towards the end I just seem to lose control of myself and brake every and anything withing striking distance... last night I believe I brutally masacred several ill fatet june bugs at this point of the track... and all along, all I really wanted was some fucking APHEX ACID!!! ;););););O |

i love this deep sound from which it really starts (in 0:05 or close to this) and then the beats are so comnplex... it is difficult to notice all the sound patterns.this great melody from about 1:08 (?) and then i am always waitin for this phrase in 2:06 (twitch, switch?) and the melody again but even deeper and stronger than before. the endin is cool too- this fadin beat changin into quiet pulsation. I prefer mount st michel mix + st michaels mount than cock ver/10,they way the first 2 minutes hit you,the mell ow part after 5 minutes,and back to the melody in the first 2 mins at the end,I love the way it distorts to fuck to suddenly ending. one of my favorite afx songs is laughable butane bob,probably the best beats ive ever heard. |

Yeah, Mt St Michael sounds like a remix or something of Cock.... I love the bit at the end where the odd sounds kinda filter out into a low sample-rate and it leaves that "beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound... great stuff :D. |

What annoys me a little about Druqks is the final minute of this song has probably the best production I've heard in IDM - and he rarely uses it at all, preferring to have most of the effects go straight down "the middle". Taking Control also does this, then adds more and more as it goes bonkers towards the end. |

Cock/ver 10 is fabulous... it's probably my favorite on drukqs... I just love the beat, and the cool vocal parts... I believe there are two, one super short one word thing, and the famous "Come on you cunts, lets have some Aphex ACID!!"... plus, the ending is AMAZING!! It's goes totally nuts, but is still very organized and intricate and stuff... very good!! |
