check history books and see who the first explorers were...
all of them british criminals (not enough space in british
prisons). those people "built" america. that's what history
tells us, simple fact. i'm not making general conclusions,
though...

The bad potato harvest was when the Irish moved to Britain.
The British to the US was purely adventurers and people
wanting to set up a new land.

Plus the fact U2 are Irish so have no real affiliation to
Britain :o)

*stares* I'm not going to comment on your historical
accuracy, or lack thereof, you see my hands get a bit shaky
and that impedes my ability to type when I find occasion
like this..to laugh.

And as for U2- Ugh.

That's all I had to say- have a nice day, eat twinkies and
be glad you have money.

I suppose it depends on whose history books you
read...history is only recorded through the interpretation
of the writer.

It would be interesting to see in US history books in 100
years time over how September 11th is recorded.

its a naff name for an album it is. kind of nauseating
actually. *pukes on bono*

How will it be recorded in american books? the same way they
always record everything.. up their own bums. Hehehehehe..

I still laugh when I remember Bobo's acceptance speech at
some pointless award ceremony going...We are here to fuck
the mainstream...and my instant kneejerk response was...well
then turn around and fuck yourself or your nearest
bandmate..that will be the quickest way to achieve it:)

the hands that built america...

there was an article in the NY times...

a HUGE majority of people that build buildings in the US are
nattive americans. For some reason, they have great balance
and arnt afraid of heights.

The WTC was built by native americans

as where a HUGE % of other buildins in NYC

a sad irony isnt it?

a lot of the building were also built ON the native
americans too...desecration and reappropriation of sacred
burial grounds was a lot more common than is known..

C'mon. The USA are hardly the first group of conquerors in
history to build over the conquered.
