everywhere i chek for astrobotnia it does not appear as a aphex twin album,at cd now and allmuscguide i find it as a band! |

the general consensus is it's ovuca as all the clues point to him - alos he's performed it live and was introduced in new york as astrobiotnia ..it sounds most lik ehim as well.. |

they say it's ovuca in last months muzik and on absorb.org - but if he's performed it it's safe to say it's him i think - no self respecting artist would perform another persons songs instead of promoting their own |

it did fool me though, beacuse i downloaded the sample mp3's and it did sound a little bit like aphex to me ...anyway i liked it and i will buy it the next time i leave for the civilised europe...because here in bucharest anything you can get is basically shit-dance-whore-music! |

here i don't know if this was posted before Rephlex told us that it's not actually Aphex (the album would have been released under the AFX title if it was, apprently) but rather the work of one Kristian Richards (apparently dispelling the Ovuca rumour), who seems to be a new artist on the roster making his debut on the label. Regardless of how good a marketing move you might think all of this secrecy and tomfoolery is, the fact remains that Astrobotnia Part 01 is a pretty credible and interesting release even though it sounds a lot like something Richard D James would have been involved with. |
