i'm trying to go for sleep deprevation, to see how my body
will react...

anyone done this before? how many days before i start to
halucenate? any other info?

i'm trying this out to see what type of music i can come up
with...so far it's extreamly violent, and distorted breaks
and sweeps, with a kinda V.Snares sound.

the longest I've ever gone (withoutsleep)would be a couple
of days. Near the end of it I was on a train with a few
mates and he cracked a joke and we were laughing so hard for
what seemed like 30mins that the tears were running down my
cheeks, I don't know what my body was trying to tell me?

yeah, you do start to hallucinate after a couple of days...

Not great big pink elephants or shit like that but your eyes
do get tired and things go a bit grainy...and you often see
shit move in the corner of your eye...

it's pretty unhealthy thing to get too deep into; once in a
while is ok but not too often...your brain does need sleep &
to dream; it gets confused when it goes a long time without
rest...

would you say that sleep dep helps with music? i've noticed
that ppl who try it get very cranky...the tracks that i've
just started on while experimenting are very violent, and
hopefully the crankyness will help, and add to the lyrics
dpt.

it can certainly put you in different mental space...which
can be handy when trying to come up with something new or
something you wouldn't normally think of...

Bit like drugs really...helpful for stepping outside
yourself occasionaly...

any change in routine can help view things differently
though... drugs are not always a necessary component for
artists, allways good to try things a bit though, Ive only
been without sleep for maybe 2-3 full days, its horrible
when you actually have a lot of things to get done. which is
allways for me.

is there a guiness book record for the longest time someone
has remained concious (awake) with/without drugs?

that's actually a pic of me...it came out a bit grainy due
to half ass lighting/digicam, so i photoshoped it up...it
came out really cool, and makes it look like i'm drowning
instead of screaming or whatever. i like drowning a bit
better, so extra points there! :)
