Remember this!

Its on Sky Movies at the moment. Classic film, the cartoon
was better though. Skeletor is and Evil Lyn are the best.

I remember some of the other characters from the cartoon,
Trap-Jaw, Mer-man, Beastman, Man at Arms and Orko - just to
name a few!

BTW: Anyone else think the character from Final Fantasy 9
looks like Orko?

Yes! That person from ff9 did look like Orko. I remember
those other characters from he man too Jedi. Great
memories. Transformers and He man were on back to back
everyday and i tried to watch them as much as I could. Id
do anything to see the original transformers
again...*sigh*...so well drawn...Now adays it sucks ... too
much computer and... just badly drawn... oh well...

Wasn't Dolph Lundgren the live action He Man in the movie?

I just watched Universal Solider on TBS last night, he was
in it. With Jean Claude Van Damme. ''Movies for Guys that
Like Movies'', TBS is a guilty pleasure with all those
action flicks!

I have a bunch of old HeMan figures. I used to have Castle
Greyskull and Snake Mountain. Fucking mother threw them
away...

"movies for guys that like movies" and they play "universal
sodier"?? umm, i don't think so!

should be called "cliched movies for cliche guys that like
cliche movies"!!

Ha, I know, they're all B-movie flicks with lots of violence
and catchy one liners. They had Mortal Kombat on the other
night... now THAT was some quality filmaking.

Skeletor was surrounded by fools - he could've won if he'd
hired the right people! :)

That's true. Bumbling imbeciles that couldn't kill He Man no
matter what.

But I bet Skeletor made the mistake of getting He Man into a
dangerous situation, then disclosing ALL his evil plans,
like all cocky evil villians do time after time. Then He Man
could take advantage of the lapse of judgement and open up a
can of Whoop Ass.

So you can't blame it all on the sidekicks, Skeletor
deserves some criticism as well.

Wow, sorry if this disturbs anyone, but I just had to reply
to this thing.

Buzz Off was indeed great, I dream of owning one. My
favourite toy was the one where it was like a skunk,
Stinkor, and his figure really did smell.

Remember these?:

Man-at-Arms, Ram-man, Toobad, Clawful, Cringer, Snoutspout,
Leech, Bananaman, King Randor, King Hiss, ?

Now if this wierd lookin SKeletor here had an army of those
guys, he'd be a winner. (except for Man-at-Arms, he was
stupid)

i had most of 'em, oolong...

anyone notice that they're making he-man nostalgia figures
now? they're about 6 of the original toys but re-done for
2002. they're bigger, more detailed, and they do more. also,
the collector's edition figures come with tapes of the
cartoon! anyone know if any tv networks (cable) show
repeats? i've always wondered why cartoon network didn't buy
rights to it.

Classic flick, one of those movies that just never gets
old.

p.s.

MORTAL KOMBAT!!!!!!!!! *techno theme song kicks in* * jumps
around doing karate moves*

These new figures are strange. I just looked them up and
have seen pictures and... I can't tell if I like dem.
Oh well, trapjaw looks pretty cool.

But they don't have a sorceress figure. I wonder why.
earthleakage, I've already got a clip of the beginning too,
I thought it was really funny. I have this episode where the
sorceress is imprisoned by some poor starving man who finds
the secret to ultimate power.

I downloaded a couple of episodes off Soulseek... ''The
Return of Granamyr'' and something else...

The little public service announcement at the end is
hilarious. During the show, some Centaur came to kick
He-Man's ass (yeah right), and He-Man said ''NO, let's have
a tug of war instead to determine who should live''... and
guess who won...

And at the end of the show it explained how all of life's
problems can be solved through Tug-of-War instead of
ass-kicking.

This was on the episode I have.

He-man's thought of the day:

Being a good leader takes a lot of responsibility
But you must also be responsible when you follow a leader.
Don't do something wrong or dangerous because someone tells
you to. Think before you act.
We can't all be leaders, but we can all choose what is right
and wrong for ourselves.

I think there's a lesson there for all of us.

Dood......Cartoon Network is putting out some NEW and
IMPROVED HeMAN cartoons.....i think fairly soon.

that is probably why the new figures have been released,
makes sense to me!

i'm looking foreward to it, the new episodes look better
than the originals......scarier!

'80s cartoons should not be remade 15 years later, period.

exhibit a: transformers -> beast wars
exhibit b: ghostbusters
