just got the album...

sounds like Korn sneakpeek'd the electronic scene on this
album...but it sounds nice in a Korn'ish kinda way.

If you like Korn you should check out the new album "Korn -
Untouchables".. coming out June 11, 2002... wait a minute ..
that's 3 months away! ;)

Untouchables? sounds like a boyband album title... like
INVINCIBLE or whatever...
anyway, i actually think korn are slightly talented so i
will check it out slightly.

what about the song "misty blue" - i downloaded that months
ago, and it was purported to be from the new koRn album

By 'untouchable' they might be referring to the lowest rung
on the traditional eastern cast system. That seems to make
more sense to me (I hope).

korn does not suck, life is peachy is an awesome album, i
will most definently check these songs out. i think they
did the right thing by taking things easy for a while. plus
all the people focused their hatred on limp bizkit, and look
at them now.

yes Life is Peachy is probaly my fave (and most creepy)

I saw them live some years ago with limp Bizkit supporting
and Helmet too. Of course Korn and Helmet were good and Limp
Bizkit...

...well they were shit and now we're lumbered with the bag
of wank.

that other nu-metal garbage that kills brain cells...

i got a song called "internet war" saying it was a demo from
the new album --- but the singer doesn't sound like jonathan
davies -- is it koRn?

korn selftitled album is their best. look for songs on
Kazaa/audiogalaxy like "Daddy" the most emotional rock song
i've ever heard, with shockingly lyrics about jonathan being
raped when he was a child:

DADDY

Mother please forgive me
I just had to get out all my pain and suffering
Now that I am done, remember I will always love you
I'm your son

Little child, looking so pretty
Come out and play, I'll be your daddy
Innocent child, looking so sweet
a rape in mind and all your flesh I'll eat

You've raped
I feel dirty
It hurt
As a child
Tied down
That's a good boy
And fucked
Your own child
I scream
No one hears me
It hurt
I'm not a liar
My God
Saw you watching
Mommy why?
Your own child

It's alright

I didn't touch you there
Mama said she didn't care
I didn't touch you there
That's why mama stopped and stared

I fucking hate you Mother fucker
Mother Fucker, I fucking hate you, Fuck You
You son of a bitch, you fucking ruined my life
I wanted to die
I'm sick of it, mother fucker . . . oh oh
Why'd you fuck'n do it to me?
I Hate You
I Fuck'n Hate You
I Hate You
Why?
I Hate You

they've only played this song once live. it was just too
emotional for jon to peform it. at the end of the song he
burst into a cry that lasts for 2-3min or so. it's intense.

other great songs on that album are Blind, Faget,
Clown(this is a heavy song)

life is peachy is good also. i don't care much of their
other albums. few songs here and there maybe. check it.

First album was good, in a post thrash, RATM influenced
way.

Second album was half assed crap (which the band have since
admitted)

Third album was US chart pandering shite

Fourth album was Garbage with more guitars

Fifth album - who gives a fuck

Cypress Hill but no Trent

2nd is not bad, rest is shitter and shitter
sidenote, limp bizkit i really like the first? album, 3 $
bill y'all, it's excellent i think, and nothing compared to
the shit they released after... imho

korn,limp bizit,linkin park, powerman 5000, coal chamber,
disturbed, slipnot can all burn in slayer's hell. I damn
them with the words "death to false metal". ahh... yes give
me testament, pre black album metallica, pre roots
sepultura, neurosis, today is the day, bloodlet, coalesce,
unbroken, kiss it goodbye, damnation a.d., and deadguy. I
would much rather listen to old school bon-jovi and
motley-crue anyday to the mainstream agressive music scene
that exists today.

heh I listened to some of that as a teenager..yonks
ago..prefered early Megadeth to Metallica..but Master of
Puppets rocked good and hard..problem with nu metal..is they
wanna be all tough but still have stuff to git the groupies
in the sack..those days..band members playing thrash were
just comic reading nerds with long hair..and so they couldnt
give a fuck..how loud or fast or heavy they got :)
