AFX Sleep Music

rob fragilenine from cthetdtiael on 2001-06-07 05:49 [#00008552]

I'm going to try putting an aphex CD on while i go to
sleep... out of these ones, what does everyone think is the
best to go to sleep to?

SAW85-92
AB3
Classics
Come To Daddy
Windowlicker
RDJ album
ICBYD

... that's all I got. I don't have SAWII and can't find it
anywhere for under $46AUS, and I don't want to pay that much
for it...

Junior Jones from mildred's whisker... on 2001-06-07 07:36 [#00008562]

I guess I'd try it with AB3 or ICBYD, if I were you...But
You'll have to get SAW2...Pay the money...its worth it...

TekN010G from Australia on 2001-06-07 08:52 [#00008566]

Quino-Phec from "surfing on sinewaves" is very good,.. It
could have been a part of SAWII

meanwhile
SAWII has 2 cd's,.. so $46 is a bargain

beleive me,.. It's worth it

Glitch from New Zealand on 2001-06-07 11:45 [#00008584]

I live in New Zealand so I had to pay $60 for SAW2, then
after I got home I found out it was the shity American
version with less tracks >: ( but I wasnt that Impressed
with SAW2, it lacks something, continuity, I like a few of
the tracks alot, but at least half suck in my opinion.

TekN010G from Australia on 2001-06-07 23:05 [#00008652]

SAWII Is to be exprerienced,.. not heard,.. It sounds stupid
but If you've gotten into it as much as me or some people I
know then you'll know exactly what I mean

gotmeth? on 2001-06-08 01:09 [#00008653]

rubbish john from i dunno where on 2001-06-08 08:20 [#00008680]

sawII is very nice to fall asleep to, however, there are the
odd dark and eerie tracks that could, i suppose, cause your
mind to drift into realms of nightmares and bad dreams (esp.
if there are drugs involved with the induction of sleep).
i think that my favourite track to fall asleep to (ever) is
'subtle body' by fila brazillia. it's the last track on the
'maim that tune' album - fantastic stuff.

takeshi on 2001-06-08 09:17 [#00008681]

i go to sleep listening to SAW 85-92 just about every night

Arch Rival from NY on 2001-06-08 10:15 [#00008692]

Confield always puts me to sleep....

I have burnt a CD with Quino Phec, I (from SAW 85-92),
VietRMX 21, Blue Calx, Rhubarb, Lichen, Matchsticks, and all
the soft tracks from SAW 2.

THAT CD ROCKS!!!! I sleep nice to that one.

streamer on 2001-06-08 10:30 [#00008698]

I can rarely go to sleep listening to anything cos if I put
a tune on I have to see it through until it
finishes........unless, of course I'm totally fucked.

TekN010G from Australia on 2001-06-08 10:53 [#00008700]

I can't get to sleep without music,.. :)
because my house is always noisy :(

od from perth on 2001-06-08 14:43 [#00008732]

SWAI from Denmark on 2001-06-08 15:39 [#00008745]

Try falling asleep to Atari Teenage Riot while being sick
with the fever...

rob fragilenine from ... on 2001-06-08 15:42 [#00008748]

nah, ATR's a bit too noisy to go to sleep to...

TekN010G from Australia on 2001-06-09 01:28 [#00008853]

the reason I can't get to sleep without music is because If
there's nothing to put me into the "zone" then I'll just
stay up thinking about stuff all night

Naphex-Male from Vancouver, Canada on 2001-06-09 01:41 [#00008856]

Falling asleep to Pink Floyd's "Ummagumma" is cool! Dark
deep sleeping.....

Organ Grinder from my own little fantasy world on 2001-06-09 07:36 [#00008876]

I ALWAYS fall asleep to SAWII -- it's great. But i didn't
know that the American version had less tracks! FUCK!!!
GODDAMNIT!!
Why does America have to suck?
I wish i were British.

Fetus on 2001-06-09 10:21 [#00008890]

Mocean Worker..."lighen up again"...listen to that and youll
fall asleep wether you like it or not.

Japes from London on 2001-06-09 11:52 [#00008892]
