been listening to it today a lot... while studying and
stuff... (it's great for that by the way) and I must say the
second disc is awesome... with the exception of one whole
song, and maybe one other one that's just a bit too long
winded, it's flawless...

You're right, it is really good music to study or read to.
Definetly.

I find sometimes I just get lost in the melody though, and
can't concentrate on my work.

I find it's really good music to listen to to go into a kind
of trance when you're doing something repetative like
painting minitures etc. Track 2, disc 1 makes me stop what
I'm doing though.

BTW I was going though my fruity loops files today and I
found some pieces I hadn't mastered, but were very good. I
only vaugley recalled them. It's because I often compose
just before I sleep and hence don't remember them.

I think i slightly prefer the first disc. I've been playing
that while i sleep lately. When I go to bed i just put it on
a very low volume, and it works great... the first song
always makes me feel very strange inside... (chivers..) and
usually i fall asleep during 'rhubarb'. I love the thought
that the music will keep playing even though i'm sleeping.

I also love the way backgroundsounds mix in with this music.
If I listen to it while it rains, the sound of raindrops
against my window mix perfectly with it. And also when i
hear a carhorn outside, or a whistling bird or just...
well... anything. It truly is backgroundmusic. It changes
the mood i'm in.

The only thing i don't like is that richard didn't change
the artwork for the cd-release... the whole idea of using
pictures for songtitles is excellent, and perfectly
executed... and it's just frustrating that those 6 circles
on the back are still divided in 25 parts instead of 24.
Makes the package less perfect.

yeah Blue Calx is probably my favorite track on the whole
album... very soothing I find... in fact, with a few
exceptions I find the whole second cd pretty soothing I
think... the first cd is more fucked up... :)

Are you sure you haven't got the discs mixed up funkmaster?
;-) (or maybe I have... ). To me the first disc sounds much
more soothing, the second disc makes me nervous.

Rhubarb is amazing! I agree, maye the best... altough the
first song on disc 1, and the very last song on disc 2 come
very close.

ever notice how the chords sound like one note, but more
then one note at the same time? It's weird, but when the
chords come in in Rhubarb say, it almost sounds like one
note, but I know it's more because I can't pick out the
different ones if I listen closely... it's fucking cool...
