well, i'm not really an afx expert, but i personally think pacman is the best out of them. Have not heard bradleys robot, but i did not think all that much of the bradley strider i got, but it was on a really really crap quality mp3. i wud liek to hear it in good quality. |

Robot is MUCH better than Beat, ICBYD era style tracks. PACMAN was just for a laugh GAK is very weird, but nice - only track 4 is really good. AB5 is a masterpeice, as is MFM. Which is best? My favourite is Melodies From Mars. (and I do own all the above BTW) |

Analogue Bubblebath 5 is my favorite in those series you just mentioned, by far. im personally not too crazy about the Brad stuff at all. Melodies from Mars isnt bad, sort of an in betweener.. |

I'm trying to download from Napster, Analogue Bubblebath 5. I think it's a masterpiece but there's a problem... I'm listening, there's awful audio. Especially track#1 has a really bad audio. I know it was on vinyl but I didn't think it had a so awful audio... It's a pity a so beautiful Album damaged from bad audio... wooÆ’er |

The reason AB5 on the net is so bad is for two reasons: 1) When AB5 was put out on the net, the original MP3s were made from RealAudio files. 2) Most (including mine) copies of the AB5 white label are poor (very scratchy and hissy). I have a friend who has it also, but his is consideribly better than mine, and I've managed to get near CD quality tracks from it (still working on it) by running them through CE2K and removing the minor pops and scratches his has. RE: Complexity - Melodies From Mars is leftover tracks from the Richard D James Album, so complexity-wise, it's the same. |

Hi. If you want to get any of the material like Poewpill - pacman, Bradleys Robot, AB2, Ab5 and many more. My user name on napster is patemanr and all my mp3's are good quality. My AB5 is not bad. |

Actually, the original mp3s for AB5 were ripped from a tape recording. Thats why you can hear the heavy phase on track 1. Luckily, my copy is from vinyl so it doesnt sound like I just wiped my ass with it. |
