I have them enabled. Why WOULDN'T someone enable them? This is a technical question. Why would you disable cookies, what problems can they cause?

cookies enable your IP to be recognized more easily by external servers. Its like slapping a big sticker on your ass or hooking you onto the end of a fishing line.
Its good because sites you revisit will reload quicker because the previous 'cookied' connection will reactivate.
Its bad because marketers can trace your movements all over the web and pry on your surfing and spending habits for their market research and web trends analysis.
Also, if you wind up in a site which has dubious content, the authorities can trace you more easily because the server in question has slapped a big one on you.
Its better to de-activate them in my experience. Also anyone else can see exactly where you've been if they check your cookies. some innocent sites have dodgy sounding names which could cause unwanted suspicion..
fuck it its your choice.
