Roxy most Aphex Twin fans are behind you.There are a hell of a lot of people on this site who think they know it all and try to put people down, but they are the sort of puffs that you meet in this world every day and don't like.Dont let people put you of being a fan. To be a fan does not mean you have to be a know it all like some people thing you do. This is community for fan, and a site to learn information about the APHEX TWIN.Ignor anybody who try to dis you, keep posting and you will find there are a hell of a lot of sensible people on this site, respect to ya good self and hold ya head up high. |

Sorry Roxy for the rushed note online. I just saw your post and wanted to get something for you to see, to say not everybody in this community thinks like that. Keep posting man, don't stoop to the levels of the people who are trying to show you up, just stick with what you like and say what you want to say. Freedom of speech and freedom of expression, that's what it's all about, and that's why the Aphex Twin makes techno music like no other, because he does not let other music people dictate what is music and what is right and wrong, he just does and say's fuck the rest. |

It's all about the music and sharing and liking a common intrest.That being the APHEX TWIN.But as you said this does not mean we have to out do each other by saying, well I like Richard more that you do and I would shag him for this contribution to techno. spot on. but i come from smashing pumpkins messageboards. they are worse big time. you should visit www.netphoria.org sometime. newbies get flamed daily. totally ruins the atmosphere. i mean, we're all fans, aren't we? now the same shite is starting to appear over here as well, and i think that sucks. maybe phobiazero can do something about it? like closing threads that are just insulting? just a suggestion. |

I would like to think that I know a lot about the man behind Aphex Twin, and that doesn't make me [or I don't let it make me] a total fucking jerk off. I don't understand what your saying... is it really THAT bad?? If so then that is horrible. I don't think that "newbies" should be burned or whatever you like to call it. Everyone was a newbie once! Don't people understand that? I would like to hope that people think in terms of logic.. and if they need explination in that... lets do this: 1. First Step 2. Proceed to take other foot and put it INFRONT of the other. 3. Continue as needed. Fuck... some people can be such assholes. I welcome all people new to this site, and Aphex Twin.. ask.. as many questions as you wish.. I would like to hope that the majority of us that post regularly are here to help and give each other insight and info on "whatever comes to mind". There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. :]~ |

eg. of newbies abusing people (this isn't something that happened just an example) lets just say there's a "stuff you don't like about aphex twin" topic,.. and the newbies scream at the people who mention anything about hating aphex in order to seem as if they are REAL fan's (they do this to gain crowd acceptance),.. and people who are used to voilent forums are usually quick to start an argument,.. It's pretty rare here,.. but I've seen it a couple of times other than that,.. 90% of newbies are good... |
