REMOVE OLD REMIXES?

Wizard MaC from Amersfoort on 2001-10-15 11:07 [#00041293]

Do all remixers agree with this?

[Phobia said there's no more webspace for remixes anymore on
this site..]

Give everybody a chance to be heard!

Hey guys, this IS an important topic

Chrispy from UK on 2001-10-15 11:49 [#00041309]

I think you should but I've not put any music on there so
it's not mine to say.

I'd like to hear more though as I've heard most of the other
ones

Fresch from Trondheim, Norway on 2001-10-15 12:49 [#00041312]

Remove them...most of them are shit, including mine.

diego from belgium on 2001-10-15 13:00 [#00041314]

Aren't there plenty of free webservers out there where Phob.
(or anyone else) can put up new mixes? All he has to do it
build a 'fake' mini-site about anything (takes up around ten
to fifteen minutes) at some host which offers lots of space,
usually with lots of banners/adds. The webhost will think
the account is being used properly, while in fact you use
99% of the account for storage of the mixes or whatever,
which you link to from this site.
No?

Phobiazero from Sweden on 2001-10-15 13:54 [#00041321]

diego: I have been thinking of that - but I want it to be
100% transparent to the user. No worries. I'll work on it.

Sido Dyas from An Imperial Cruiser on 2001-10-15 18:53 [#00041635]

Hello?

Anyone?

Piggsy on 2001-10-15 19:08 [#00041639]

Fuck you, you idiot. What format was the file in?

recycle from drukqs on 2001-10-15 19:29 [#00041641]

silo days- in general hotmail does not let you send/receive
large files...

a solution would be to get an account at yahoo.com
i have one there adn it alows me to receive larger files
from the peeps..........

p.s. hope there is enough room on the server for phobiazero
to put it up

Sido Dyas from An Imperial Cruiser on 2001-10-15 20:02 [#00041652]

Sido Dyas from An Imperial Cruiser on 2001-10-15 21:23 [#00041737]

Nope that didn't work!!

Anyone else?
The file is about 4mb

dronox from www.dronox.com on 2001-10-15 21:26 [#00041741]

Silo- you can only send like 1.5 megs, so, yr' screwed :P

I liked the idea of deploying some form of voting system, as
I wrote in another post:

" guess with voting on the art [or in this case music] you
could vote from kick off the site - 10. If you got like X
ammount of Kick Off The Site votes from unique IP's, then
it'd go byebye."

I think it's a good idea, what do you guys think?

Lt. Charlie Parker from Vietnam on 2001-10-15 21:33 [#00041745]

Silo, cut it up into three seperate files, or upload it on
the internet and provide a link. You see them Japs leaving
out left ridge?
