How crap are hyped films gonna get before somebody does
something about it?

Thius film is all about "look at the period detail i
recreated.. WOW" and "i found out how they spoke in1900,
am´t i fucking clever?"
It has a shit and muddled storyline with many holes e.g.
Wonder boy Leanardo manages to murder a cop and hang hiss
body up undetected in the busiest square in NY
undetected!!!!
The characters are wooden and cliched. The token black guy
was a serious reversal in movie progression. The love story
was literally unblieveable. The gaps due to Mirmax editin g
was criminal and i saw and intervie where Scorses says "This
is the last film where t the entire set was REAL... not CGI"

BOLLOX, mate... there was about 30'40% CGI there, daddyoh

.. Danieal Day Loius.. famous for Method acting.. how about
"Acting"?
(ok, he WAS very good, but it ain´t enough)

.... "Gangs"? I counted 2 that featured here
..... the building of New York? where?

....also, when he fades in modern NY at the end, he should
have faded out the two towers, Mr. Historicaly Correct

Lucky me I didn't watch it last night at o4.oo am after two
day with no sleep. It's 168 minutes long.

But I have these 3SVCD rip of it so I'm gonna give it a shot
later anyhow.
