I got a Marantz model 1530 tuner that sounds great but has
dodgy knobs and switches - like sometimes when I switch from
phono to aux I lose a channel and have to wiggle the knob,
same with other knobs an stuff.

Can I buy a can of compressed cleaner and blow out the gunk
somehow or should I take it to an Xpert?

It's a great sounding rig aand I'd hate to mess it up...

I think it's a wore down knob/switch, and not dirty. You
could try with a can of compressed air, otherwise open it
yourself and have a look-see.

If you don't like that it's time for a mileage service. ::)
