My fav band, out of Portland, Oregon, is calling it quits.

Drummer for Dislogik kinda lost heart, so they are
going to start anew in a few months, new drummer and what
not. It will be cool I guess, but it will be a different
thing.

Anyway, they are playing one last show, which I plan to
attend. life goes on I guess *sigh*

-------------------------
Favorite band breaking up sucks ass, no?
Anyway, I love these guys

I had a similar thing with Nirvana.

they were finally coming to the Netherlands again, I had a
ticket 'n all.

then Cobain shot himself in the head.

d'oh.

I hated when Twiggy left marilyn manson, or rather, marilyn
left him...

I hope he comes out with a solo album or something, he is
such a charecture and a great bass player

the rock scene is hard on bands man, but I guess it weeds
out the kids who aren't working hard and keeps the output
decent

who knows

sucks ass when you bought $100 worth of shirt and gave them
out to all your friends

burned as many CDs as you could, handed out stickers and
shit. Spammed boards to get the word out and shit.

they could at least keep the fucking name

------now I'm angry--------

I am sorry to hear that BlatantEcho, man fuck them, get your
own thing going and let them eat their faces off.

AND HOW COULD I FORGET!!!

It was bound to happen sooner or later, but after 3 albums
and a sucessful career, the Spice Girls have ventured out
to do their own solo projects as of a year ago, which is a
nice way of saying the band broke up. Even though they have
said in press interviews that they dont know what will
happen, its rare to have a group separate and come back
together. This makes me sad.

:*(

I remember hearing 2 become 1 for the first time, what a
lovely song............. aaaaahhhh memories....... good
times

*opens a .40*

*pours it on the ground*

This one is in memory of the Spice Girls

Word.

Ahhh yes memories, if every one spiced up their
lives, the world would be a better place.

what was the official explanation for the spice girls'
split? "we suck"? just kidding... but seriously, they just
kinda faded away it seems.

Their third album Forever was like an underground pop album,
because it was hardly ever played... but I thought it was
great. Wierd, maybe it was different in the U.K.

Spice Girls OWN JOO!

i loved the track "holler" (produced by rodney jerkins)..
hot video but even hotter song (and i really do mean that
it's an excellent track). i guess they overstayed their
welcome with the fickle dance pop audience. comes with the
territory though.

so you don't know anything about how they disbanded?

offline Mickey Mouse from The Moon on 2003-01-13 12:52 [#00512821]

Hell yea, well they got rid of Geri because she wanted more
money then everyone else, and got into frequent arguements
with the band members and the manager. I am glad she left,
because her voice was shit IMO, all scratchy and nasty from
her constant smoking. But then after that, they got back
with some of the producers that helped out with their first
album, one being rodney jerkins, and came out with Forever.
Since then they have been doing their own solo endevours.
Mel C with her nothern star record, Mel B with her RnB
release, Emma with her ballad filled release, and Victoria
with her garagy/pop release, Probubly my favorite release
compaired to the rest of their solo stuff, hex hector did a
Mel C remix for the song I come to you, which was played all
over clubs. They didnt really break up though, said they in
an interview that they were "talking a break" from the Spice
Girls to do their own thing. Possibly to come back to make
another album, they said it wasnt out of the question. But I
think its over for em. They had a good run though,
definatly, too bad Forever didnt get more air play, I
thought it was possibly their best.

Woooooozle wooooosie WEEEEEE!
