I've recently been completely in love with Reich's
"Citylife".

incredibly powerful use of samples.

oh yeah.

love the beginning - pulse 1 if I'm not mistaken.

beautiful. especially when the voices join in in the pulses.

yea its just pulse. the entire record is just that 16th
note feel in 6. never changes, its so gorgeous i want to
rip my eyes out.

hey qrter by the way, sorry we haven't gotten around to
sending you the Tiki tracks, been very busy with colleges,
shows, and working on new tracks. actually it completely
slipped my mind, do you think you could just use the mp3 as
source?

mm. and when the percussion comes in, later on. yessss.

I recently bought a cd with some of his sixties pieces. like
"its gonna rain" - how he uses those voicesamples is
incredible.
