My first music purchase was some old skool d'n'b called
moondance '93.
I trew it away,but now I wan't it again for no reason,just
to re-live the memories.
First cd was in '94.It was an extremely cheesy happy
hardcore cd called bonkers.
I still have the whole set of Bonkers.
Does anyone else remember this cheese?

'Mexican Radio' 12" by Wall of Voodoo. I don't remember the
year, but it was when it came out and I was born in feb
74..so anyway, I was young. My dad bought 'Land Downunder'
by Men At Work.

The WoV 12" was painted orange with green and purple
stripes. That's why I wanted it. Excellent song too :)

1984 - Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith

CLICK FOR REVIEW

And yes, I understand now that it sucks. Soon there after I
discovered Ride The Lightning which does anything but suck.

Errr not sure I can remember that far back.

Maybe it was Silver Bullet as well... (TUNE!) or it might
have been Soul II Soul...

The first single I owned was System Addict by 5 Star which I
got as a birthday present off someone... (thanks a lot!)

This thread makes me realise how some people on this mb are
far too YOUNG (y bastards you should be out drinking cider
in a bus shelter somewhere) and some are really old gits!

Funny someone should mention Paul Hardcastle. That just
reminded me to d/l his song 'Rain Forest', which I had a
while ago.

Heh, some of you bought your first CDs in the 90s. I had
over 300 CDs by the end of 93. Now my collection is just
scary, but it's fun to see people's faces when they see it
for the first time.
