i was watching a music show (more like documentary) on our
national TV this evening. here is the list of videos that
were played and discussed:
-karma police
-rabit in your headlight
-parnoid android
-africa shox
-come on my selector
-come to daddy
pretty impressive stuff for national tv imo :)
anyway, discussion was about music videos and if they have
any terapeutic effect on facing our fears and nightmares.
There were two philosophers discussing-i didnt know one of
them (haike fendel) but the other one was slavoj zizek (he
was picked for the worlds best philosopher for 1999), now he
really makes great comments and is giving wonderful opinions
about almost anything (im not only saying this because he is
my fellow citizen hehe).
here is something in short of what he said: in his opinion
this music videos have some terapeutic value-the video
itself would represent our fear, especially if there would
be the actuall sound to it, but since there is music playing
along-this music is helping us face our fears-music is
working like some filter, ofcourse every video a was a story
for itself but this is basically what they were talking
about,
i hope it makes some sence :)

hehe, this guy is actually cool, but you have to take in
consideration my english factor here :)
and also i'll have to watch replay of that show, because i
might have missed something because he speaks really fast
and confusing
