Sounds good. I would've made the outro shorter/louder. Maybe
it's just my speakers, but the ending is too low. I know
it's fading, but I kept turning my volume up because the
fadeout was so long :)

I also think it should be made into rule here, that anyone
who posts music, tells what software or hardware was used.

i like the vaguesness. althought there is a fucking nintendo
bleeping behind my back i can see a big dark hall filled
with dark grey, nice but old smelling. maybe a torch too.
but not like oldfashioned style, like other planet style
maybe.

other planet style...

thats actually what I had in mind :)

if you liked it, and are curious... heres another, longer,
more complex track...

Sheltered

what software/hardware you using/thinking of using?

offline neetta from Finland on 2003-01-10 14:27 [#00509702]
Points: 5924 Status: Regular

well, i have modplug tracker for compiling wavs. i noticed
software is nasty and evil so i'm going to use as much
hardware as possible. i've got a zoom rhytmtrak drum
machine, a few synths and we have organs. i'm at first
probably collaborating with my roomie, we have splendid
ideas using philicorda organ, drum machine and samples. i'm
going to record all the possible cool sounds i can get to
see what can i make of those. i have already proven myself
as a good drumlooper so i guess this might work out after
all :)

something ok?

Well, wait until you are comfortable with it to share.

It will take time though. Just keep at it. :)

It has an very "another-world"-feeling.

I must get my hands on Reason 2, for some weird ambient.

great quality but fairly uninteresting composition. I like
this song better www.zebox.com/call for example.

I don't theenk the title was fitting either. Unless it was a
slow mollusk stalking it's small piece of moss or whatever a
mollusk eats.

how can you even compare that song to this?

totally different styles.

And I think the title is perfect for it.

Ever watch a documentry on wildlife?

I enjoyed the interesting collage of sound you've composed
on this one, I like them dark, (puts my new sennheiser
headphones to use!) :D

Although I did have the feeling that it was going to
building up to something.

Keep sluggin' tiger :)

"Although I did have the feeling that it was going to
building up to something. "

meaning I was expecting more developments and layers added
or something later on.....

btw, you did a track called "vimh (old version)" on the
xltronic volume 2 compilation right?
