I hate scratches in CD's!!!

When it comes to tolerance to heat, cold and sand, a
compact disc is the most stupid media of them all....

My Chris Clark has problems with my discman cuz the cd
couldnt stand -15degrees c. for a longer period of
waiting-time on a trainstation.

My Boards Of Canada [MHTRTC] has almost a hole in the cd.
Don't know how it got there, but it's fucking up the last
two tracks.

I have also had a cd that couldnt stand lying in the sun too
much...

I fucking hate that media....

I was throwing cassettes out of my car while driving once...
and they are tough as nails...

I won't continue with that story :-s

I still use cassettes, occassionally.

i'm definatly hoping that a feature-release media won't be a
disc...but instead a memory-card or a boxed disc like a
minidisc

Yeah, I don't buy CD's unless I absolutely have to..

Bit of a lover of a fine peice of vinyl myself. :)

It's just so fucking unfair...I finally ordered some warp
cd's (after almost 2 years of downloading music), and they
get fucking fucked up! argh!

whenever i have a track that 'sticks' in one place because
of a scratch on it, i just hold down the skip button and
fast forward past it

I've fucked up so many CDs it's scary... something like 350
of mine just don't work, I've had to buy a Kyuss album four
times now because the copies just get destroyed either
through playing so much or carelessness....

My 'radioactive man' has a scratch, and the only track that
doesn't play well anymore is 'Goodnight Morton' !!! DAMN!!!

record stuff which i downloaded on my comp.

My SAWII CD was fucked since I got it, it has a finger print
inside the CD itself. Hard to explain but it makes the last
track fuck up so I'm going to buy that again and give the
dodgy one away. I fucked Drukqs by taking it round
everywhere and leaving it out of the case so I'll buy that
again but I'm looking at getting the Japanese version of it
because I was told it has a legible track list on it and all
my slipknot CDs are fucked too. I need to take better care
of my stuff.

I like the little MP3 player I have. It uses MMC and is only
around 4 by 3 inches. Got it a ukgadgets.co.uk for £50. I
keep dropping it tho.

if you take good care of your cd's they will not damn-it
break! i don't have that problem.. but i copy most music to
MD and listen to MD when im not near a stationary
cdplayer...that may increase the cd lives..

I listen to Death Metal, Grindcore, Europop and Braindance
because I'm me and I like it. I have mix CDs I have made
with Slipknot, Eiffel 65, Aphex Twin and Anal Cunt on.

Slipknot are great for playing when I'm weightlifting, It
gets me right into it.

lol, i mean just buy vinyl if possible, download mp3's,
convert in wav, burn them on cd or transfer to md ;)

I really really like Slipknot. I'm sure I would not like the
guys in the band but the music does it for me when i'm in
the mood for Death Metal. The fact it's death metal but you
can understand the lyrics goes down well with me. When i'm
in the mood for 'IDM' I listen to Aphex Twin, Bogdan
Raczynski, PP roy and so on. *shrugs* Seem some people have
a problem with this but I just go with it. I've not seen
Slipknot live, I don't like crowds as they make me panic and
become violent.

check out a band called Vision Of Disorder. Good
training-music...best album i guess would be "Imprint"

I like the real nasty grindcore like Agoraphobic Nosebleed
and Nasum. For Death I listen to Mortician and other such
fast rough stuff. Slipknot kinda fill a gap in my Death
collection but I'm very picky when it comes to metal. I'll
check out those bands sometime and see if I like.

I don't see Slipknot as death metal, they're more like a
thrasy Korn to me. The second album was good, 'Iowa' was
fucking awful I thought. I saw them at Reading and they were
boring as hell.

Vision Of Disorder - Living to Die.mp3

I could get.

People = Shit is great but it's nothing on Nazum and
Berzerker.

I had a few Berzerker tracks, not bad - I should check em
out a bit further. Any band that does Carcass covers gets
thumbs up from me.

Hmm... If you like fucking fast grindcore with computerized
drums and such then you should maybe check out 'Frozen
Corpse Stuffed With Dope' by 'Agoraphobic Nosebleed' I keep
going on about it but for a reason.

Is 'Morbid Florist' by 'Anal Cunt' any good? I've seen you
bring those guys up a few times. Scott Hull (ex guitar for
AC) is in Agoraphobic Nosebleed now. Maybe I'm telling you
shit you already know eh?

Ehhh.. Anal Cunt are good but as for albums, I don't think
it makes much difference. I downloaded about 300 tracks from
AG when it was alive and they're all pretty much the
same.... I can have a look in my metal book when I get home
and see which ones get the best rating (it's never wrong).

I don't listen to cradle of filth anymore. I have loads of

have their first 5 albums tho. Name a track by them and I
won't recall which CDs it's on. :/

i hate cds!

they always scratch up, all my cd's fuck up after 2-3 months
of use... i really handle them with care, but they always
seem to self destruct...

worst one is some punk cd, its got holes in it, like someone
droppen acid on id or something

so im not the only one with that problem, what a relief

such but it was my teens when I used to hardcore listen to
that stuff.

I don't know... I came in one day and it was on the floor
cracked almost in half. I blame my mom. I've had 4 different
Abbey Road discs, too. It's a hostile environment for CDs in
