I just downloaded a very cool song from Kazaa. It's under the name "Fat boy slim and Aphex Twin - Terminator 3 theme".
But do you think it's true that Aphex Twin had anything to do with this? -I mean, this is Kazaa. Many users just put a popular artists name by the song so people will dowload it.

It's because of the new kazaa, Now there's a feture called "partipication level" that shows how much other people download from you. This goes down fast when you download but increases slightly when others download from you.
-People with higer partipication level have certain prioritys when it comes to queues and stuff... They can basicly cut in line.

I see... This spyware, what does it do? Can certain people check what you've downloaded, or does it go deeper than that?

"While this may be a great concept, the downside is that the advertising companies also install additional tracking software on your system, which is continuously "calling home", using your Internet connection and reports statistical data to the "mothership". While according to the privacy policies of the companies, there will be no sensitive or identifying data collected from your system and you shall remain anonymous, it still remains the fact, that you have a "live" server sitting on your PC that is sending information about you and your surfing habits to a remote location...."

aphextwin.nu has all the info on bootlegs and official stuff.
I doubt Aphex would touch Fatboy with a shitty stick.
