 | Why hell don't people actually have conversations with one and other on this board? Its seems all the time that all
people like to do is constantly list their likes and
dislikes and sod all interaction seems to go on. I must say
its getting pretty boring. What does the board think?

 | the conversation threads mostly pop up in waves.
then again, is it inherent to the mb-format to have
 conversations..?

also, this mb has quite a large community - makes the topics
 more scattered.

I do agree though, too many lists. lists come forth from
 boredom.

 | how personal can you get on the net though?..... i think this board is good for getting information, and
learning about new musics, and killing time.... reading
 others opinions, but...
email! email is the new conversation... i don't usually have
 many conversations with strangers anyway..
but i do see what you're getting at!

 | No. I like it too... I mean, isn't a 'poll' type thread, just a form of conversation?

Don't worry promo, the pendulum will swing back in the other
 direction soon.

 Let's start a conversation now:

pomme de terre: Hey guys, whats up?

 | I know some other people who said to me when I introduced them to this board that their doesn't tend to be much
conversation going on. I frequently write stuff to illicit a
response and I'm not fussed at the end of the day if no one
responds but I'm getting to the point now where I'm getting
bored of this board as a consequence. (excuse the pun).
