Around towns, yes. On motorways, no. It's the people who pootle along at 50mph that cause accidents- not people who do 80...

Are those signs with the numbers speed limits??? I always wonder when i see one: "AGH! what sign madness is this!? What the hell is this sign supposed to mean? -"Sign number 60?" Why the hell don't they just put a sign that says: "Warning: Sign ahead!" or something?"

We use kmph here, but my car shows mph... And it only shows up to 80mph, some American policy against speedsters or something.

The speed limit here one the ring road is 90kmph (about 55mph). but anyone driving at that speed will bee horned massively by all the other drivers out there... Unless we're talking about that small part of the ring road near "Skagaströnd"... The cops there have been sucking all the drivers dry. They actually got more fine-money last year than the rest of the police did in 2.5 years!
-I'd rather take the other way around just to avoid them.
