I have a movie (about 550MB), that needs to get its soundfile fixed. The error said I should decompress the audio into an uncompressed wav file and then compress it into a fixed bit-rate file.
I have managed to save the audio as a wav file, about 50MB, but what do I do now?
I need detailed info on how to fix the audio file into a fixed bit-rate file. I also need to know how merge it into the film. V-Dub can tell me the exact bit-rate the audio needs to be.
The problem is with several seconds of delay at the latter half of the movie.
Hjälp.

youre sure your not just missing a codec? (try using Nemo-codec and BS-player...that works for me)

No. The file works in mediaplayer, virtual dub, videoLAN and DivX Player. The sound just gets delayed out of sync after a while.
(Also, check out VideoLAN. It can play up Kazaa DAT-files, before the download is even completed.)
