lol i just read a really strange little fact that has been researched (it's unbelievable the things people research!).
Apparantly, according to the researchers, men always hang their toiletpaper so that the loose end of paper is as far away from the wall as possible.
Whilst women supposedly always prefer the toiletpaper reversed... so that the loose end of paper is as close to the wall as possible.
I don't know... could it be true? I know i always hang it in "male" style ;-) but i never gave it much thought... it's just a habit.

Whenever I see a roll that is the wrong way I feel like turning it. Let's face it, that's the way they should be hung.
Btw, do you write like George talks on purpose or is it my mind that makes it seem so because one brain sees the picture while the other half reads the post?

I always hang it male style. I always think it's easier to reach that way when you're half asleep. Women probably hang it the other way so it's less likely to get caught and unrolled- it's tidier.

Final and clinching proof that researchers really don't have anything better to do with their lives.
I hang it either way. Depends how I take it out of the packaging. I just don't care :)

"Whenever I see a roll that is the wrong way I feel like turning it."
ha! Yes now that you mention it, so do i! It annoys me to see a roll hang there reversed... but i don't know why.
Ceri's explanation seems to make sense...
"Btw, do you write like George talks on purpose or is it my mind that makes it seem so"
That must be your mind ;-)
At least i don't purposely try to sound like george. Maybe i'm becoming george unconsciously?!? He is always obsessed with toiletpaper... oh my god...

You know how you can tell if it's the top side or the bottom side of a piece of toilet paper? I wonder if women use the bottom side of the paper or the top. I know I use the top, no matter which way the roll goes on the holder...

"if it's the top side or the bottom side of a piece of toilet paper?"
Well is there a difference? And if so, how can you tell? Maybe with that fancy expensive paper that has flowers and butterflies printed on it... but otherwise both sides look pretty much the same to me...

The top side is the side that's on top when it comes off the roll. Surely you must know? It's also slightly concave.

oh... in that case i think i always use the bottom-side. Because i take it off the roll with the topside facing up... but then you fold it, and the bottomside comes facing up.
Did you know there are also people who don't fold their toiletpaper at all, but just sort of ball it up?

Well that really depends on the nature of the... movement... sometimes it hardly takes any and sometimes you're going for a good 20 sheets before you're sure it's all done with, maybe even need a 'moist' :o
