Luke and I have to write persuasive essays for english
arguing some sort of point. I am writing about how John
Lennon was more influencial than Paul McCartney, but thats
not what I am here to get help on.

Luke doesnt know what to write about. He was going to do
something about how mp3s will never replace conventional
media; the teacher approved the topic. But when he showed
her his thesis, she said he had no argument.

now hes lost and doesnt know what to write about.

Any suggestions for him?
Thanks to anyone who replies!

I wrote one last semester arguing against the use of
mandatory minimum prison sentencing, with my main focus on
small-time drug offenders. I got an A on the paper, B+ in
the class.

Would you like to *ehem* borrow it?
(for examplitive purposes only of course ;)

I was originally gonna do it on why instant replay and play
call challenges should be implimented into NCAA football,
but it had to be 6-8 pages and I just couldn't find enough
crap on the subject to write that much

mandatory minimums was much better, tons of good info out
there

the Lennon/McCarney thing sounds like a fun argument to
write a paper on, but is there enough info/facts on the
subject so you can write a good full paper for the class?

Something on how an MP3 isn't tangible. You don't get the
feeling like you do, say, holding a brand new peice of vinyl
in your hand. Or picking up a brand new CD you see at the
store. You don't go and 'buy' MP3's in stores. you don't
support artists by getting them. How could thew relplace
any media?

Hope that helps...

corngrower--yes. :) This is 12th grade english. :) Minimum
of 500 words. *wink*

diao--ahhh yes, see, thats what luke tried to do! But the
teacher said that it wasnt an argument, more of an opinion.
But then... isnt my Beatles thing just an opinon too?! And
shes letting me do it! Gah! >8(

Yes and how buying MP3s lacks the "consumer therapy"
eleement of a vinyl/cd spree.

lol, my friend argued that schizophrenia patients were
really just exposed to a high knowledge and no longer found
a use for our simplistic language or other forms of
communications.

Write about the influence of the CTRL-ALT-DEL function on
todays technological society.
My feeling is that it's the most defining factor in the
evolution of the PC, and the sole reason that Microsoft is
still in business.
Think about it for a moment...
