I don`t know if you guys know but it`s true! when you enter
a location called "GHOST FARM" you will hear a fifth track
from SAW2 cd1 - grass! Sound is a bit blured but u can
still reconize it! Anyway, did they have any rights to use
it?
What`s more sometimes robots that you fight with
say:"hummanoid must not escape!".IM SURE THERE WAS AN APHEX
TWIN FAN IN DEVELOPING TEAM!

excellent, someone else noticed this.
hankie, off SAW vol 2 is nearly identical to the music for a
place called The Glow in fallout 1.
i say nearly identical because the fallout music is slightly
different, but aphex twin was an obvious influence.
great games by the way.

I have Fallout 2, though, I've never given it any time ta
play. But this Ghostfarm-thing sounds interesting. May seem
lazy, but how far in the game is this Ghostfarm? ^_^

Hey guys, I'm perfect at all things Fallout.
Maaaaaaaaaayyyybeeeeeeeeee......

2afxacid: You get there through Modoc (I hope you know where
Modoc is), you have to go to the black farmer in General
Store (left from the entrance to town), and get the mission
to check out that spookee ghost pharm.

BTW, it's easier to get a converter proggy and convert all
the music in WAV (then whatever you want). I have one,
because I love those brilliant ambient trax that give so
many memories afterwards... Shame they're 22Khz.

Listen to Redding theme. It's about a brown-red planet on
which there is a dying human colony, whose inhabitants are
mutating, losing human look, forsaken be their own kind,
they rot there for the rest of their life. (well I was
reading an appropriate sci-fi novel at the time of
listening, so hehe)

Fallout2 is much deeper in any way than Fallout1, with that
'govrnmnt conspiracy' theme I always liked.. And if you
speak to the President in the end, it turns out that Fallout
is the most bloated and exaggerated example of it.

2Beeblebrox: no, man, it's not similar in any way to me...
Mark Morgan (the composer) is most surely an AFX fan, his
works always have something to do with SAWII... The Grass
reference is most obvious. The beat, and the background
flying desolate synth...

You don't know anything about Strugatsky Brothers, do you?

I have Fallout 1 & 2, but I didn't want to start 2 till I'd
finished 1. I never managed to finish it. These fun facts
will make me go back to reinvestigate it. I remember the
music from "The Glow" it is pretty SAW2ish.

Don't tell me any more! I don't want the suprise ruined :(

BTW The "Humanoid must not escape" escape is from an old
arcade game called Berzerk. A couple of AFX tracks
sample that...
