I really don't know why I'm putting out this one, cuz it's
IMO the best track I have ever made, and I was saving it for
future releases.
Promise me to throw this one in you playlist and give it a
listen, I have really worked in details on this one. And
reply with a comment please ;)

imo you should always rely on your creativity to come up
with something more and better :-)

Anyway for me it always feels very bad to have something
that is "perfect", and you feel you won't be able to make
anything better again.

I don't make music but paintings (i guess you could
compare?)... whenever i start out on a new painting i intend
to make it my best painting ever :-D It would give me
sleepless nights and headaches if i had made one that i kept
for the future release of like a book or something... but
that's just me.

Anyway: about the song
-----------------------------

I'm listening to it for the 3rd time in a row, and i really
like it! Great work man! Indeed you can tell how you've
worked on this one in great detail. It feels very complete
and finished.

The melody in there is very naive and beautiful. Not
particularly happy, not particularly sad... just somewhere
in between. It really moves me, and i can't really say why.

All the little clicks and rattles and beats go along with it
perfectly. Really complementing the melody imo. Instead of
being very upfront and demanding attention, i think the
rhythms sound very subtle and allow for the melody to fully
develop. But without them being simply backgroundnoise...
they're actually very complex. Not just one simple beat, but
constantly evolving... i love it :-)

I'm sorry, but i really can't think of anything negative to
say, hehe. It's just a great song! You can be proud of it.
If anything it reminds me of aphex twin during the rdj
album-era... but with more than enough differences to make
it your own.

excellent!

That's a very nice song. Nice polyphony and some specialish
effects keeps it interesting. Here's what I'd totally do:
pick maybe a couple "bars" or whatever, like a few obvious
chunks of the song and in these 2 chunks change the "hi hat"
or whatever drum sound it is into something else (then
change it back after) It could be something strange like a
frog boing... it just needs that cuz that particular drum
was the only thing keeping it a bit too repetitive.

hey, very nice. very aphexy but thats alright. its a
beautiful song, there are a few wierd chords that don't work
to well, but its good all in all. nice production.

Any non-floops plugins used?

I've been using lots of VST plugins, but have recently gone
back to just using simsynth,, ts-404 and the default
plugins. I wish I had a PC laptop :(

I think i used mainly floops-plugin...might have a soundfont
or two in there too...but nothing else...

my final proof that fruityloops can do magic in right hands

In some parts it sounds a bit like the theme song for a
saturday morning cartoon :)

I love it...it does have that whole rdj album feel to it.

Hopefully you'll have a new one for us soon?

Well, it seems slightly repetive due to the lack of
instruments. I think some of your other tracks were better,
though this isn't bad.
