Who knows anything about Bukowski? I've heard SO much about
him, and finally bought a book. Man, it's something I will
never forget... If it's all autobiography, then he must be
one of a kind. To live through it all is one thing, but to
live and write about it is WAY different.

a friend lent me 'ham on the rye'.. .i started reading it, i
thought it was quite good never got to finish it though.

interestingly enough, i was was flicking through that 'kurt
cobains journals' thing today in a book shop, and on one of
the pages he was going on about how he ripped up and burnt
all his charles bukowski books. i dont know why it didnt
say!

Try Tales of Ordinary Madness..excellent short stories..I am
more of a Short Story fan then Novels..to me it's a purer
art form..

and incase you wanted to know.
I think Bukowski's Love is a Dog from Hell and Burning in
Water, Drowning in Flames are two of the most outstanding
books of poetry ever..

awesome

*adds all to my list*

i like short stories as well. i think it shows the true
talent of a writer, being able to do it all in just a few
pages.

not to digress but one of my favourite short stories of ALL
time is 'the veldt' by ray bradbury.......truly
terrifying......ehhehe
