hello all. sorry to bore you, but i would like to notify
you of my recent release... i released a cdr independently,
and yes, i copyrighted it. you can buy it online from
cdbaby.com or direct from me. the style is similar
pre-maximum preist squarepusher and early bogdan raczynski,
with some hip-hop garage and ambient influence as well.

sure, i'll check you out taffmonster! dig the EVIL ERNIE
style face by the way. speaking of gameboy, i just purchased
phantasy star collection and used the field music from the
first game for a wicked jungle track....

hehe genious. i really wanna do a track (as sick as this
sounds) withs amples from pornos and turn em into vocals. im
sure its prolly allready been dun but it would be intresting
experiment to manipulate the sounds enough to get a tune
hehe

nothing?

hahah wife? im only 19 lol! u can roughly copyright stuff if
u recorded deliver a copy to yourself and dont open it. if
it ever went to court it would be pretty sbstantial evidence
that u wrote it first

most stuff is open market untill it is published / sold.

in other words you have to sell the rights to your material
before it can be copywritten.

well in the united states i think it is different. the US
copright office copyrights a published work (US legal
definition: offered for sale, sold, lent, etc.) for 30 US
dollars and two non-returnable copies of the work published,
all elements (art,music,credits,etc.) included. actually,
this registers the copyright. US Legal definition is that
copyright is automatic the day you put something in a fixed
or tangible form.

I think copyright laws vary from country to country.

No it reminds me of B12 a lot. Thats who I think I was
thinking of.

Your new one sounds like Warp circa '94

hehe the endless trapes to find my own sound. i think thats
the hardest thing. i can do it vauguely on my guitar but
electronica is much harder to get an original sound but
thats whats so much fun :)

thanks for having a listen :) nice when people hear your
music makes ya feel good :)

i hear you@taff

finding your own sound is difficult in nearly all music...
it seems like everything has been done.

Taffmonster on the main melody I think some of your notes
need to be quantised a bit better they sound slightly out of
wack. I could be wrong it may be the way its intended. And
the only other thing is the ending is a bit abrupt apart
from that pretty good. No offence intended of course.

man....i cant get real audio to work on my puter.

any mp3s? somewhere?

and yeah, the copyright thing....wasnt trying to start a
war. just checking what the different laws are. im sure
there all different for each country though. we have nothing
like that down here.

hey absolutly none taken. i always spam my songs on here not
just for the ske of gettin people to ehar them but mainly
cos most of the time i get a good criticism like you just
agve. your write about the timeing i slightly cocked up the
end of one of the bars of the bit of me playing which i
sampled. ill ahve another listen to the end see what could
be done with that and i may rerecord the other bit thats
slightly out. (i only left it as it was the only opertunity
i ahd to put it up, so i just left it as it was)

dont eb scared to criticise peopels stuff, its only when
people start saying stuff like "oh thats just shit" and dont
bother saying why

:)

Taffmonster no you've done a pretty decent job. To be honest
I was just knit picking and anyways its a 2 second job to
quantise those few notes. Again nice one.

You don't have to register to be covered by Copyright laws.
That only applies for Patenting or Trademarking. The only
thing you have to be able to do to be assured of coverage by
copyright laws is to be able to provide proof beyond doubt
that you are the original producer of the work.
