I'll admit I haven't heard them for ages (like 5 years) but
my sister put on some a couple of months back for a laugh
and it brought back memories.

I don't know I guess they're very unfashionable but
listening to it brought back memories.

In fact I was just listening to some of their latest tracks
(from their website) and some of the more electronic
sounding stuff with just drums sounded pretty good even in
todays context. I was generally trying to forget that I was
listening to Ozrics and judge it purely on its own merits.

I've just been listening to some of their latest tracks. I
have to say some of those tracks have got some serious
potential. I think they've moved on a bit in their sound not
leaps and bounds but with a bit of remixing shit, some of
these tracks would be really hot.

People you've got to hear Ch'ai from Ozric Tentacles
'Waterfall Cities' I'm sorry that sound is fucking awesome.
Its on www.ozrics.com.

Yeah I've listened to most of the tracks on 'Waterfall
Cities' and most of them are very good. They seemed to have
matured their sound. I can't ignore these boys anymore.

Perhaps there was a little over enthusiasm on my part. I can
only hear clips but on closer inspection I'd say probably
half the album is good or certainly has more potential.
Seems to me like there is some fighting over their sound
going on in this record. If they keep progressing and get
rid of their dodgy cliches they could be a good band.
