Vit C appreciation thing. i'm sure she's a sweet girl but she really hasn't added anything positive to this board from what i've seen. so if anyone else besides mickey or funkmaster thinks i'm some kind of thread fascist cos i have the most points: 1. compare how many posts per day i make with some other people on here. far fewer. i've just been on longer. 2. i don't even consider myself a "senior" of this board. i've only been on since december of 2001. some have been on nearly a year longer. 3. do you see "moderator" or "webmaster" anywhere next to my name? 4. i challenge you to point out a post where i tried to "deny" someone else's right to an opinion. go on. 5. i've made a couple threads that challenged people to look at their actions on this board. that's not at all the same thing as me telling people what to do. it's up to the person to make the change, not me. i could say more but that's a good start. |

couldn't agree more. i think there are people who do nonsensical posts well (Mickey Mouse, Mr. Flappypants, and the Baron being my favorites at it) but most of Vit C's posts don't go over well with me and a lot of people (whether they care to chime in on this thread or not. check the Vit C threads for people's responses.). it's just sad more than funny because she obviously needs some psychiatric help, or a good friend (which no matter how much time you spend on here can't be equaled on a message board). |

i haven't said anything about Vit C in this thread that i didn't say to Vit C several times in her threads. she knows they're nonsensical babble. i'm sure she comprehends why her threads get closed all the time. but she keeps doing it as a cry for help, which really is something pretty serious. i don't think you try to pick fights with me in the same way zeus and funk shamelessly do (i've learned to ignore it) but it does seem to me like you've gone out of your way these past couple days to get on my case. you don't see me making random references to anyone on threads, which is why i see what you have done as disrespectful. i don't talk down to people, and if it seems like i'm talking down to you in this thread it's only because you appear to have a severe misconception of my attitude. maybe i'm not doing the right thing to mend that. maybe i shouldn't do anything at all, but i am. but as for talking down to people in other threads, i'm still waiting for you to validate that claim. i obviously don't see it, but if you could come up with some kind of example maybe i could explain myself or admit to doing it, if i agree. like the peace tea in our w M w, the checkers are all fine and good once we've come to an understanding. like common says in his song "aquarius": "holla back, but listen first." |
