I am having a bit of a problem with my Flash animation that I am working on for my computer animation class at school... I worked on it last night, and put it on a disc. The file size was 602 kb. Then, I took it to school, worked on it some more (added to it), and now the file size is 593 kb!
It shurnk! Even though I added to it! Ack! 0_o'
Dos anyone know why this is? Im a little worried, so I gave the *shrunken* one a different name, just in case something is wrong with it.
If anyone can explain to me why this happened to my file, I would really appreciate it. :)
thanks in advance!

Well, I think it's just because Flash is a bit unpredictable. :)

Probably has something to do with which scene it was saved on. If you saved while working on a different scene, it might not have to read all the graphics from another scene--leaving them out of the picture, even though it's aware of them. I'm relatively certain it has something to do with the library.

Hmm, okay. I thought maybe it had something to do with grouping. Like if you group lots of things, you change the file size. Why wouldnt it read everything though?
*scratch head*
And why didnt you just tell me this whe I asked while we were talking instead of making me look like an idiot? ;)

Lust Incarnate: Perhaps the version of the Flash program differs on the two places you've worked on the file. I don't know if Flash files are run through a compression algoritm prior to save but that could be it.
