i'm tired of soft synths, I want to start recording using only analogue synths and beats. my problem: i connect my module to my computer, i open Sound Forge(i also have Logic just never use it) and record my sounds using the program's recorder. i always get unwanted feedback in the background and it really annoys me...no matter how many times I alter the sound, i still hear feedback...
any hints on how i can record analogue into my computer w/out getting feedback? could it be that my cable is bad? could it be the fact that i'm using Sound Forge to record? help?

yea you need some sort of analogue to digital converter, a cable probably.

it could also be that analouge is just naturally noisy.

the only way you could be getting feedback is if the sound going into your computer is coming back out and into your synth again. you sure you meen feedback? doesnt sound possible to me.
are you using the line in?
if your using the mic in you will get unwanted noise. the mic line is amped to get more level through a mic. but you shouldnt need that much level to record from a synth.

You'll want the line in recording volume to be lower, probably.
In my experience, lowering that is going to clean up the sound exponentially.

if your getting fuzz then you can try and lower the really high frequencies on the Sonic Foundry EQ plug-in
