I went to the record shop to pick up the two Joy Division
cds you recommended but when I got there there were more
than the only 2 you promised me they'd ever released. I was
pretty sure that the originals were 'Closer' and 'Still' but
I couldn't be certain and I was too shy to ask any of the
shop clerks who probably didn't know anyway.. I went home
hurt and confused.

Did you listen to 'Of Ruine or Some Blazing Starre'? What
do you think?

They only have two ''real'' albums, Unknown Pleasures and
Closer. You should buy them both, absolutely essential...
and Substance is kind of a must-have... singles and B-sides
kind of thing. Still is a third album after Curtis' death,
some good stuff but spotty and inconsistent, of course. Just
odds and ends kind of to cash in I guess. You don't really
need it unless you really like what you've heard.

I couldn't find that track! But I'll put it on my wishlist
and cross my fingers.

Just to clarify, Still is their third official release and
Curtis is on all the tracks, but he'd been dead for a bit
and they just pulled some tracks out of the vaults. There's
some gems, like Dead Souls... but it's on Substance anyway.

Thanks for the clarification.
'Of Ruine or Some Blazing Starre' is not track title, it's
an album title. Current 93 : Of Ruine or Some Blazing
Starre(The Broken Heart of Man).

Yeah, that's what I meant. Whenever I found it, it was all
queued up... and I didn't find it often. But I'll keep at
it, I'm not a giver-upper.

GASP!

Nah, that's not our destiny. Admittedly, our kids would kick
ass, with my brains and my looks and all.
