It'll just be another defective baby, like we don't have enough of those already.
Our hamfisted cloning technology is pathetic, just pathetic. Here we are trying to copy a human being when we can't even fix up telomeres to extend human life, or grow fresh organs in a jar (though both of those are getting closer).
It's like a beginner mechanic attempting to build a car from scratch when he hardly knows how to change the oil, and obviously it's going to be one of those Flintstones cars.

Blade runner, exactly. Telomeres are these wads of protein on the ends of your chromosomes that protect your DNA from damage every time your cells divide.
As you age the telomeres get used up, and your DNA gets fucked up, until you run down like an old car engine.
If you take the genetic material from an adult to make a clone, the telomeres are already pretty well used, and then you subject that to all the cell divisions involved in fetal development... well I'd be surprised if the kid doesn't need a cane and a hearing aid by kindergarten.
Actually there's a disease called progeria that makes kids prematurely elderly, so they look like tiny senior citizens. What's wrong with them? Missing telomeres.

kinda sick, cause they claim as the clone grows older they get really bad diseases and age quicker and sick.. kinda unfair and scary

i remember looking at their website a couple years ago (www.clonaid.com i believe) and thinking it was pretty funny. they were offering to clone a human for something like $500,000. never thought i'd be hearing about em on the news.
