After coming across her (par'n me, oo-er missus etc) in a
solitary pic on the seedier side of the net (hey I was
bored!), I've now traced her down to the rather risque (and
http://www.crushphoto.com/Main/PreviewImages-new/PreviewCle

I'm glad to see you're all finally starting to realize what
I've known for a long, long time; I'm a very deserving
subject of mass recognition. Never one to bypass a great
opportunity, I have quickly written my autobiography to cash
in on the trend before it wears off. I will be signing
copies of "w M w: An Innocent Tormented Victim of an Insane
Mouse" at B. Dalton on the corner of 12th and Lemon from 4pm
to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Though Mickey is the reason
for my greatly appreciated fame, the main purpose of this
message is to advocate his banishment to the left nostril of
GolgaPuff4 in order to eliminate the possibility of him
diverting my public's attention toward himself.

My track is perfect as it is, I mean obviously. Come on. But
I suppose I could accentuate a unit of sound here and there
with reverb and make it even more perfect (if that's even
possible). I won't though.

mickey: don't you realize that people like w M w only troll
online cos in real life their egos are the size of a pin?
have some pity on him, he probably has no life whatsoever.

on the other hand, don't get bent out of shape over this,
but i DID find what he said to you to be, though extremely
rude and crass, accurate and hilarious. you are an extreme
optimist and sometimes your positive mindedness can be very
detrimental: contradictory, self-defeating, and downright
baffling. i think we all appreciate your compliments and
cheering us on, but he was right about you being extremely
optimistic to a fault. neither of you should leave the board
though, especially you (the one who is nice, respectful, and
talkative.)

offline Mickey Mouse from The Moon on 2002-12-26 01:34 [#00491411]
Points: 4130 Status: Addict

Whats wrong with being an optimist?

Nothing

I know w M w jokes around a bit, but that which was said was
way too mean for me to just turn my cheek and shine it on,
no matter how much pity I felt for him.

contradictory? self-defeating? baffling?

Basically, what got me so frazzled was the fact that I ONLY
post comments on peoples tracks that I TRUELY enjoy. I dont
post anything if I dont dig it. I feel if people take the
time to make a track, post it here, and by chance I get some
enjoyment out of it, I should support it.

Maybe people dont deseve support from such a hopeful person
such as myself. As I have never come across someone like
this.

But I dont think what he said was acurate at all, especially
not if you knew me out side of this bbs.

right but he doesn't know you outside this board. similarly,
we don't know him outside the board, so what i just said is
purely theory (which has been accurate in past cases i've
come across).

i didn't say there was anything wrong with being an optimist
in general, but being as extreme about it as you come across
on here definitely puts a heavy slant on what you write.
that's why i said what he said is accurate, just cruelly
put. it's not like his cutting remark is the summation of
your character, just one thing i happen to agree with.

offline Mickey Mouse from The Moon on 2002-12-26 01:59 [#00491418]
Points: 4130 Status: Addict

oh well thank you for your thoughts titsworth

lets have tea sometime, shall we?

"Your reputation as a unconditional optimist makes your
feedback fairly useless" - w M w

How that could be "accurate and hilarious" - titsworth, that
to me at least, is contradictory, self-defeating and
baffling, if you are trying to say you appreciate me, and
trying to put across that you think there is nothing wrong
with optimism.

Passive agressiveness on a bbs, its a wonderful thing eh?

Heavy slant, or not, this is all bullshit to me, I get tired
of the: o woe's me, I listen to IDM and no one else does, or
the, oh gosh, I am depressed and a pre aldult with inner
struggles and emotional problems.... I am tired of that dark
morbid vibe that has been floating around in here and on all
message boards for that matter, sooorry if people think its
too optimistic and bubbly to say nice things and look on the
bright side.

"which has been accurate in past cases i've
come across" - with my experiences at least, I cant say that
Ive been able to purly profile a person with the attitude or
alternate ego he gives off in on a bulliten board. And I
have met a lot of people into making music from the la area
off of bbs's.

So there we have it!

ANYONE LIKE TO EAT CHEESE?!

YEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!

ego's at the door please

it's cliche but "can't you take a joke?"
that's rhetorical; i'm confident that you can and have. but
i've found that the people most UNwilling to dish out
criticism take personal criticism pretty hard. i think
you're proving that here. sure, ideally nothing should've
been said to you since not only was it completely
unprevoked, you were being complimentary and helpful (you
bumped his thread). however, a lot of people criticize other
people without asking. that's just how things go. no one
said w M w has a right to judge you, or that his opinion is
sovreign. i just happened to agree (not all of the time and
not in such harsh terms, but the "gyst" of it). sure, it's
messed up of me to laugh at your being dissed, but if it's
funny and has some truth to it i'll laugh at anyone being
dissed, including and especially myself. i'm not saying you
deserved to be insulted, but since you were i'd be lying if
i said it wasn't funny. whether they'll admit it or not, a
lot of people feel the same way, without losing any respect
or appreciation for you. people are more than one
dimensional, you know.

and i totally agree with what you said about a lot of these
kids (and adults who act like kids; you know who you are)
who talk incessantly on here about being ostracized by
peers, alienated by society, and finding comfort only in idm
music that supposedly no one else but us listens to, and if
other people do hear it they don't "understand" it. i think
it's silly, and i don't think the artists who make the music
intend for it to be analyzed and cherished like teddy bears.
i think they make it for fun, or for art, not to be
something that enables people with social problems to thumb
their noses at others. and for this i appreciate the light
hearted vibe you bring to this board. i'm just saying that
when it comes to artistic criticism, whether of something
professional or something someone on here made, it's hard to
take what you write completely seriously, knowing that you
like to gloss over things you fi

"no one said w M w has a right to judge you"

no one said you had the right to either, but people do it
all the time (your doing it now), doesnt mean its right. But
it allways happens.

"it's hard to take what you write completely seriously,
knowing that you like to gloss over things you find
unpleasant"

I shouldnt expect ANYONE here to take ANYTHING said off of a
message board seriously, or the internet for that matter,
because everyone has their own biased opinion about the
world and the things that happen in it.
People confuse fact with opinion to much online

I apprieciate you being honest titsworth.

So no pie in the face..........

it'd be sad if we were to discount conversations on the
internet solely because they take place on the internet. why
post on forums at all then?

i don't think i'm "judging" you, i was offering my opinion
of the situation. as i said, people have more than one
dimension, and your optimism is hardly the summation of your
character. no one's said anything about the rest of your
personality, just one facet.

"it'd be sad if we were to discount conversations on the
internet solely because they take place on the internet. why
post on forums at all then?"

I could talk for days on end about this alone.....

in summary, what I would say would go into, the physical
sense of this being and questioning what you think "real" is
and weather we are creations or metaphysical beings. For
instance, how do you know your actually alive now? how do
you know this is not a dream?

Asking why post, is like asking me, to be or not to be.

And I could even go as deep as saying, if art is subjective,
what is art? is this message board art? is posting on this
message board art?

In my opinion you were judging me weather you would like to
admit it or not. Because in theory, to make an opinion, dont
you have to judge the situation, or dilema is before you
aquire enough information to see what it really, for what it
truely is?

But lets take a wild stab in the dark here, and say that
posting, is somewhat of an art, it would only be natural
that what is being said on here is subjective in the rawest
form? Filled with opinion and bias?

People have many dimensions.

Sorry but I seemed to have answered your question with a
slew of others.....

And isnt that what life is

oops I did it agian.

I could go on like this forever.

Ill stop now
