Autechre new album snippet?

On that Radiohead webcast, there's a moment where they mix
in a movie score and then go into some electro music.

I swear this is something from the new album. It feels like
AE. It sounds like what AE would do post-GG. I mean, that
small snippet has the organic feeling of Confield + Gantz
Graf' exponential bouncing ball/engine choke stuff.

They even say later on the webcast that nobody must be
listening anymore 'cause they played Autechre.

Anybody agrees? Am I turning into a crazy AE fan??? :)

It's not long, lasts about like 30 seconds. If it's not AE,
it's the most dead-on imitation of them I've ever heard. I
mean it doesn't sound like AFX, or SP, or Uziq, or anybody
else.

sounds interesting...TY was always namedropping AE & WARP so
maybe this is right...

Got a link or anything?...I can't be arsed to listen to that
whole RH webcast...(not that I don't like RH, but am a bit
f'ed for time at mo....)...

Yeah well I've uploaded the snippet on my website. It won't
last long 'cause I have almost no bandwidth. So if anybody
could perhaps share it that would be good :) At first it
doesn't sound like it, but the more the track develops the
more I go "Well yeah it might just be it, it's even
melodic!".

I really think that could be anyone. AFX, AE, VSnares,
Radiohead, The guy who comes into your office to clean the
toilets... anyone. Maybe time will tell, maybe it won't.

I'm so much help ain't I?

*smiles* Don't worry about it dude. I get that way about
Richie. The kinda things you say then think 'I bet he would
think I'm a dick for saying that'. But it happens y'know,
you can't help it with something as emotionally involving as
music.
