Nas released "God's Son" today, its incredible. The Nas
from '96 is back. Despite the rather hypocritical track
'with 2pac' (Thugz Mansion) and the odd appearance of Alicia
Keys, he really explains all the shit that happened to him
in the past 7 years; like his fights with "hip hop"
act Jay-Z, the awesome Mobb Deep, 2pac heh, + Puff
Daddy or whatever he calls himself today. The
music....every track is different; a lot of it seems very
sarcastic (yeah, the music), and its definatly
Nas-attitude-like. He also, oddly, brings in a lotta
politics into his lyrics in this one; the track "I Can"
reminds me of [Wu-Tang rapper] Warcloud when it gets to
verse 3.

It's a great album, check it.

"book of rhymes" check that track out, its funny as hell,
he's reading from an old book he wrote when he was a teen,
and sometimes its embarrasing and he goes "what the fuck is
this? i mustve been high when i wrote this!"

ExHore is this the album on it with the song that goes
something like.... "o shoooooot, made you look, your a slave
to a page in my rhyme book, heyo player your times up, where
them gangstar's, where them dimes at?"

because that song is tight! At least IMHO
