I'm quite fond of Broadcast (even if pop is not my fav
style).
The echoes on the voices ares very well done (kind of
blurred feedback, metallic but smooth).
'thne noise made by people' is a very chilling music.

they are in the stereolab mold according to the music press.
work and non-work is their best cd . i recomend that one for
sure

why does everything have to be mindblowing to be enjoyable?

you're still holding them to unrealistic standards. not
everyone on warp is trying to outdo autechre or afx.

lol no i'm not. i'm comparring them against my own
standarrds of what i like. I said its good, i also said it's
not mindblowing. forrget warp forrget aphex.

i'm not talking just about you; a lot of people on this
board have unrealistic expectations for musicians. so many
people on this board listen to music where production is
more important than composition or even mood; so to expect
technical wizardry or startling ideas in everything is
really unfair and closeminded, and the only one losing out
is that listener...

Broadcast are great. I have a lot to thank them for really;
they're the band that introduced me to Warp and, frankly, if
it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be posting here now.

agreed, and stereolab are--were--much better. broadcast are
still cool tho, for fans of stereolab, goldfrapp, bjork,
plaid, ladytron.
