Did anyone see Cherie Blair's performance on TV this week? I must admit I filled up myself when I saw her bravely hold back those tears. How dare the press accuse her of trying to pervert the course of justice. Her son's just went away to university for Christ's sake! Don't people forget that she's also just had a kid? She's a role model for all working mums in Britain. Get off her back you gutter press! |

Of course she's no superwoman. Who hasn't made mistakes before. I bet if you turned the spotlight on those journalists you might just find a few skeletons in their closets. She's a magistrate, a wife, a mother of 4 and an investor in property all at the same time. Juggling that many balls must be difficult. If she forgets things or contradicts herself now and again it's not because she's lying, it's because she was probably up at 3 that morning changing Leo's nappy. Give the poor woman a break! |

God only knows what she must being going through. I know my mother was distraught when I left for Uni. Just as well she wasn't dealing in property at the time or she might have been wrongly accused just like poor Cherie. |

Cherie pays thousands each month for the services of Carole Caplin as a lifestyle guru. Apparently, Caplin gives Cherie special treatments to "scrub the toxins" out. One of Caplin's acquaintances says, "This was a big thing for Carole. "She believed that many people were toxic and that this was at the root of evil. She'd always say, 'Toxic people are going to be wiped out'." Caplin also apparently tells both Cherie and Tony what to wear and eat based on superstitious nonsense straight from the Dark Ages. Caplin's advice is based on her mother, Sylvia, a crank who claims to be clairvoyant and who has babysat at 10 Downing Street for the Blairs. "Sylvia is all part of the package and close to the Blairs," says one of Caplin's associates. "She has recently started 'channelling', which involves communicating with the spirit world on behalf of clients." Another of Caplin's contacts is Jack Temple. Cherie Blair and her son Euan have visited Temple's healing centre, says one of Caplin's associates. "Jack says he reads your genetic DNA by consulting rocks in his room and swinging a pendulum around your body.
