I think that this project is probably dead now, but tehre
was talk about a Duke Nukem film a few years back

i reckon that the bloke who plays Vinnie in Home & Away
would have been PERFECT for the role

just look at he hair!

he just needs to dye it blond, and there ya go!

Duke Nukem Theme by Megadeath. I want to listen to this
now.

A movie would be good if done the right way.

i reckon a Duke Nukem film would be FUCKING KICK ASS!!!!

it's got the perfect mix

lots of opportunity for one liners

and of course, the immortal

"Damn, I'm good!"

I prefered Blood (used the DN engine), but Duke is great. I
managed to get it plus the atomic edition for £5 budget a
couple of years ago :)

after a while

i wanna play blood 2

Nice games and nice soundtracks.
Duke Nuken "Time to Kill" had a great track by Stabbing
Westward, the last was by Static X.

i don't like the console versions of Duke....you just can't
play FPS on a console!

you need keyboard + mouse

the 3rd person versions i hate because of the camera views

can't wait for Duke Nukem Forever

Not forgetting the many film quotes littered throughout the
film.. Man i loved it. I have my doubts Duke Nukem 4ever
will be relelased. More likely that I'll get laid than that
getting released. More likely that Rose West will be
released!

heh

i know, it's been in production for about 4 years now!

and apparently it's still gonna use an engine that's based
on the unreal engine!!

i mean, okay, half-life was based on the quake engine, and
when HL was done, the quake engine was ancient, but i don't
think that 3D realms will be able to do much of a good game
with the unreal engine

especially as DooM ]|[ is due out anytime!!

If it does get released it will still look up to date. The
Unreal engine is modular so they can just add in all
enhancements as it comes. There's still no reason for it
taking so long though. It's not like they've written the
code themselves. I'm hoping that when/if it comes it's
absolutely massive. 4 DVDs worth of game. That'd explain the
wait. Other than that there's no excuse!

lol, i remember hearing that unreal 2003 is 3 gigs of game,
and i thought that was fucking huge!!!

i agree with you though - they are taking the piss just a
bit too much!!!

then they changed his name to Duke Nukem in the second one

Duke Nukem 3D was awesome. I used to make my mom cry with
all the dirty one-liners I learned.
"It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum....And I'm all
outta gum"

if you press ALT + F10 repeatedly, you get a cacaphony of
Duke screaming!

i love to scare the shit out of my little brother with it

heh

Other cool trick, when out of ammo- Press 1 to select kick
then tap quick kick and fire alternately- hey presto Lui
Kang style double kicks- very effective, double damage of
normal kicking!

Of course, everyone knows about pressing the action key on
light switches and water...

Bad thing about the atomic edition is that you need the CD
in the drive to play, such a hassle. I like games that I can
play w/o cd so I don't have to root round for a cd when I
want a quick blast.
