Nah only joking. Just thought I'd let the board know I failed in my attempt to give up smoking.
Thankyou for your time!

Every time you quit you get better at it. Like, you have new insights into the addiction, and how to cope with the symptoms, what to expect, and what emotional turmoil is really just caused by the Tobacco Demons and can be safely ignored.
Keep practicing! :-)

I managed to give up for 13months... unlucky for me!
Started again because my girlfriend smoked heavily.

read this:
The Swedish oral snuff has been recommended as an alternative to smoking by a United Nations health panel, but it isn’t marketed in this country. For those who are interested in the product, however, there’s an Internet http://www.geocities.com/bourbonstreet/delta/6063/index.htm site where it can be purchased, l.
Several studies on smokeless tobacco, including one by researchers at the University of Alabama, have concluded that it should be considered as an alternative smoking cessation method, particularly for people who can’t kick the nicotine habit. Swedish researchers note the long-term risk of oral cancer from wet snuff is relatively low compared to the health risks from smoking.
I’m passing along the information on the Swedish snuff and how to obtain it for those of you who want to try this highly successful alternative to smoking. I realize the product contains tobacco, but it’s far less harmful to your health and the health of those around you than cigarette fumes

"Quitting's easy, I've done it a thousand times..."
Seriously, swedish snuff (snus) gives me a helluva ride when I do it drunk. I don't smoke or do snuff otherwise so...
