watched that movie just like two days ago, taped it from TV
a long while back ..
cheesy to the max, no pun intended, but loveable
nonetheless. I found it depressing when I first watched it
several years ago, even though it *is* a kids move or
whatever ..

always had a soft spot for Battle Beyond the Stars. and has
anyone noticed that whenever a really low budget sci-fi film
gets made, they always nick the space scenes from Battle
Beyond the Stars?

I saw this movie about humans living on another planet,
starring robbie the robot. It was an early 60s movie I
think.
Bad thing was, the speech was dubbed in german. This also
made it hilaric!

i have a copy of "destroy all monsters" which is basically,
a movie that contains ALL of your favourite "zilla's" duking
it out, I saw it sitting in the bargain bin, didn't even
look at the back of the sleeve,. walked straight up to the
counter and bought it (for $3)

I love cheesy scifi from the 70s:

Logan's Run
Silent Running
The Lathe of Heaven (made for TV)

All slightly stoned, slow paced and dopey, and shit did they
really think the future was gonna look like that?
Groooooooovy.
