salute, it´s j:P announcing.... i uploaded my video to Aphex Twin´s to cure a weakling child (contour regard) on elusive´s ftp, it´s got about 144mb check it, folks! |

last i checked it was like 7mb.. is that a junk file? can you compress your 114mb file some? perhaps encode it w/ divx? |

it is a mpeg4 divx actually.... the small one is a junk file i uploaded by mistake, dont waste time with it i would have deleted it if i could...:( anyway take on the big one :P |

why is it 114mb if you compressed it? i've seen huge dimensioned 8 minute videos at 40mb. |

i know, its strange, i got the material as .mov captured from my video-tape (by accident i overwrited the digi-8-tape) then i put the 384x288 cinepak codec encoded files into my premiere 6.0 my export settings are: 384x288 mpeg4 thought it was divx in it, maybe i´m wrong.. shit i dont know how to compress it with divx, my premiere wont anyway there are bigger rocks to smoke on that ftp, e.g gantz graf so check it... |

i think i found the mistake, my export settings were saved wrong, i saw a divx mpeg 4 now, rendering now.. takes 30 min, hope it gets smaller... i dont know how that could happen |

ok, now i got a 90 mb version... not quite the result that satisfies all, but, i´ll upload it and the old version can be deleted from the ftp after or so... i dont know how to do that myself. anyway its big and the other one wont be there til tomorrow, so everyone who wants it can get the one thats on... whats that acces denied thing, tango? |

you could compress it further (90mb is huge for a 3 minute video) but if you've given up i'll check out the final version when i clear up some hard drive space. incidentally, does anyone know a good place to download cd-rw drivers? mine stopped working a few months ago. |

its longer than 5 min. and just 90 mb on the net, my hd says 84 and im really proud of that... ok i could zip it then rar it and so on, but my output settings are ideal now... anyway how can u survive without a cd-rw, i wouldnt manage deleting all the time... );D |

ahh, got that 80 mb divx version on elusives now, took me 1 1/2hrs, anyway, im pretty excited on the munich show(s?) if i manage it, i´ll be there. wanted to ckeck out rdj or rephlex live for 2 years, but never made it out of germany fast enough... see ya |
